The Big Ten schools are feeling it in football recruiting. The statistics in this study validate it. You're seeing it with Jim Harbaugh spending $500K plus to haul his team to Florida for spring practice. You're seeing it with Penn State and Michigan doing satellite summer camps.

The trend is real, and it will get worse. We'll see if Maryland and Rutgers do as you suggest. Their first attempt was a bomb. Neither could get an experienced football head coach to as much as look their way when looking 4 months ago other than a couple who had been recently fired.
